Wraith Meet with Rave Review

The PRO WRAITH ( 175g ) is quite simply the most elite distance driver (not for beginners). Its flight path is very similar to a Quarter K, in which it flies very stable and straight for 80% of the flight & then turns overstable (little less than a Firebird). Its profile is a lot more comfortable and easier to grip than the 1/4 k, as well as a much more durable plastic.

My main driver in comparison is a Champion Orc 175g, and I average on Distance Drives about 375-380ft (max about 410ft)... With the Wraith I average about 400ft and have maxed at about 440ft. I havent thrown it Forehand or Thumber many times, but it seems to perform as well as my Firebird.

Overall, I find the Innova disc stat numbers of [ 11 5 0 3] to be a fair judge and comparison to the other Innova Discs. I can see the increase of speed and float over my [ 10 4 -1 3] Orc, and the stability of a Firebird [ 9 3 0 4] with less extreme slow speed fade.

If you got enough power and snap to throw at least 330ft then this Disc is for you!

Quarter K {Disc Review}

I personally like this disc. The closest disc I have to compare it with is my 175g Champion Orc. The 1/4-K has about the same high speed stability and Slightly more overstable at low speed. The 1/4-K gets an average of 30ft more D, in which speed is a little more, and the FLoat seems quite-a-bit more. The grip is a little awkward at first, due to the difference is profile. The plastic isn't nearly as durable as the Innova Champion, and I constantly see this as the biggest negative of the 1/4-K. However, I would like to point out that the plastic is similiar to Innova Dx, but I find it more Plyable and I can easily with my teeth bite and reshape any dent. Because it usually only dents, instead of getting torn and cut like Dx plastic.

I played several courses in Phoenix over Thanksgiving

I played at Conocida Park at Greenway & I-17 (was -2)
I played the course in Papago Park at Mills & Curry in Tempe (was -1 under after 18)
I also played the Shelly Sharpe Memorial DGC in Scottsdale (was -2)
I also played Buffalo Ridge at 101 & 16th ST. (was -2 & -2 on the second day)

I had alot of fun at these courses in Phoenix, so if you are ever in the area give these a try. The Shelly Sharpe Course is a danger for losing your disc in the water on about 4 holes. The 9-hole course in tempe is tough and not for beginers. Conicida Park is a excellent course for beginers. Buffalo Ridge is Rather tough for some people to play due to the constant up and down the side of a mountain.
